The Revolt of Foreigners & the Far Left in France
NOT Student Protests
Garry Craig Powell
French firemen set on fire, while rioters film him; savage beating on car window and threatening; mayor of Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, gleefully joining in the mayhem; savage using flamethrower to set a woman’s face on fire. October, 2026.
The mainstream media are lying to you about what’s happening in France. These are not student protests about conditions in schools, let alone legitimate ones, as so many on the left have claimed, either ingenuously, if they’re total idiots, or disingenuously, if they’re Machiavellian Marxists. If the protests were really about the quality of the education they were receiving, would they be burning down their schools—for instance the Lycee Nelson Mandela, an expressly anti-racist, eco-friendly school built at a cost of 77 million euros? Would they be setting fire to innocent bystanders, firemen, and chasing down policewomen, then kicking them unconscious, as we have seen? Would they be setting fire to refuse bins if they truly believed their claims that there are not enough of them? Would Bally Bagayoko, the hard-left mayor of Saint Denis, the biggest Parisian suburb, be grinning and dancing with rioters as they set fire to everything around them if this were a genuine protest about conditions? Only the most credulous commentators, or the most cynically dishonest, could believe so.
Since I am a Francophile, and have long considered buying a home in France myself, I belong to some expats in France groups on Facebook, and I’ve been shocked by the level of self-deception among them, almost universally, this week. To enquiries from worried would-be immigrants to France, almost without exception they reply that this is normal in France, that every few years the students express themselves like this, democratically, and it’s no problem at all if you live in a rural area, far from a lycee (high school) or university. This is a combination of the mentality of the ostrich and the Soviet apparatchik. They are convinced programmed globalists, not only unwilling to contemplate the possibility that their paradise is going up in flames, but closing ranks to ensure that any dissidence is punished with ostracization. Dare to point out what is actually happening, and you will be branded a racist, a far-right extremist, or even a supporter of the Devil incarnate, Donald Trump, which is the worst insult they can imagine. They are like the aristocrats of the Ancien Regime who left it too late to flee the Jacobins, and ended up on the guillotine, with small boys using their heads afterwards as footballs, or like the Jews who left it too late to flee the Third Reich and wound up in Belsen or Auschwitz-Birkenau. I am not saying the white expats will be exterminated, though this week’s events have made it clear that the ‘idealistic young freedom fighters’ have little compassion for the random victims of their violence; but it’s quite clear that the utopian existence depicted in many a fond portrayal, such as Peter Mayle’s A Year in Provence, or the TV series Bergerac, is over. Forever, probably.
So what is going on? Firstly, if you’ve seen the videos, you will have noticed that the overwhelming majority of the ‘students’ are from immigrant backgrounds, black or North African. There are white kids among them—the useful idiots of the far-left, supporters of Melenchon’s La France Insoumise (France Unbowed, an aptly defiant admission of their nature), but this is essentially an ethnic revolt against France, the native French, and everything they stand for. What the cretinous white kids have in common with their swarthy compeers is a hatred for everything that France represents: not only its colonial past, but its Christianity, its culture—the entire edifice of French literature, French philosophy, French painting: that’s all so much propaganda to them, the dead and stultifying excretions of a toxic patriarchy, those vile Dead White Males like Pascal, Voltaire, Montaigne, Balzac, Flaubert, Delacroix, Monet, Manet, Renoir. All rubbish. If you want true culture, listen to angry rap in Arabic, or the polyrythms of pop stars from Ghana, Mali, and Senegal. To believe in the French nation is to be primitive, atavistic, tribal, and obviously neo-Nazi: and yet, curiously, as we saw with the gangs of teenagers on motoribikes in Marseilles, to fly Palestinian flags is the exact opposite. The Palestinians do have a right to an ethnic state. So do the Moroccans, the Algerians, the Tunisians, and the Senegalese. Only the French do not. France is an open society, a la Popper, and anyone can be French, indeed anyone who lives in France is as French as someone whose ancestors fought the Romans or invaded Gaul after the fall of the empire. Say otherwise and you’re evil.
So what are the protests, really? It’s a little too inchoate as yet to be considered a revolution, as it appears to have no clear leaders, although it’s been fomented by LFI, the far-left party, who will suffer for it electorally. As yet it’s a spontaneous expression of hatred and anger—anger that the white majority is still in control, and the immigrant population doesn’t have the lion’s share of the pie. It’s a crude and misguided attempt to scotch the rise of the Rassemblement Nationale, and Marine Le Pen. It’s a willful and passionate effort to terrorise ordinary law-abiding, patriotic Frenchmen and women. With the immigrant population of France at over 30% and rising fast—in Paris, the majority of newborns have Muslim names, in almost all the arondissements—it’s a dire warning of what is to come as the Great Replacement proceeds. What Raspail predicted in The Camp of the Saints, and Houllebecq foresaw in Submission is coming to pass before our very eyes. The question for the French, and indeed all of us, as these scenes will soon repeated in England, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, and eventually all of western Europe—is this: what can be done? And can France (and Europe) still be saved?
In theory, possibly. It’s clear what needs to be done: Macron should declare martial law, and put down the revolt brutally. Allow the police to use live ammunition if necessary. I am not in favour of a violent response, but order must be restored. After all, to keep its citizens safe is the first responsibility of any state, and France is signally failing at this. Have mass arrests. Deport all criminal elements who lack French citizenship. Throw the citizens in jail. Take away their benefits. If they have dual citizenship, as many do, strip them of their French citizenship and deport them. All of this is legimitate self-defence for a nation under attack by traitors. These kids declare quite openly that they hate France, and regard themselves as Moroccan, Algerian and the rest. Let’s believe them. We know what happens whenever one of their football teams plays. They are not assimilated; they have no desire to be assimilate. Like Stormzy, the Ghanaian-British drill star, their speech reveals their true allegiance. Stormzy speaks of Ghanaians as ‘our people.’ It’s the same in France. If they regard themselves as Libyans, Syrians, or whatever, let them go back. We could have mass remigration if we had the political will. However, it would be expensive—it’s not compatible with ever-rising prosperity—and it would sometimes be unfair and unjust, inevitably. At present, Macron is sitting on his hands. The problem the centre-left has, not only in France but throughout Europe, is that it needs the immigrant vote more and more as its traditional voter base, white working-class people, especially older ones, die out or abandon it (because they’ve been abandoned by the doctrinaire socialist middle classes who run the progressive parties.) So they’re reluctant to appear repressive. Only the other hand, if they do nothing, they risk losing the support of the middle classes, who above all want order, prosperity, and the maintenance of their own privilege. Their hands are tied.
It’s fairly clear, after this week, that the National Rally will win a resounding victory in the next elections, and we can only hope that Marine Le Pen will be as tough, or indeed tougher, than she’s promised, and not cave as Giorgia Meloni has done, to pressures from the EU to keep the borders open and pursue globalist liberal economic and social policies. If she does that, France is over for good: this is a critical moment in its history. And it could be argued that it’s too late already. Huge numbers of young French people of are of mixed race. Millions of French nationals were either born overseas, or are the children of immigrants born overseas, but may genuinely consider themselves French, and be loyal to the Republic—and naturally, I am not suggesting that they should be deported. We saw videos this week of decent immigrant parents grabbing their children by the scruff of the neck and pulling them out of the riots. I’m not saying that only people of ethnic French ancestry can be considered legitimately French. But ethnic French people should remain the majority, if France as a meaningful nation is to survive, and that will only happen if rigorous measures are taken to ensure that the Great Replacement is arrested now. One hopeful sign is the Catholic revival underway in France, particularly among the educated classes, with numbers of baptisms and confirmations rising dramatically. If France has any future, it is as a Christian nation, not a Muslim one, nor a global secular one. And that goes for all Europe. We must understand what is happening. This is an attempt to eradicate France, to eradicate our history, our culture, and ultimately us—to deprive us of our laws, our customs, and our property. It is us or them. They have home countries to return to; we do not. These are our only countries. We have to be prepared for what’s coming, which is surely ethnic war across the continent. And we must win.
